INSAN Magazine, which first printed issue was published on 13 September 2013, is the leading and thought-provoking quarterly publication that covers a wide range of topics such as philosophy, politics, society, culture, and life. The Magazine's mission is to nurture a society based on science, humanism, free thoughts, tolerance, justice, and love. 

INSAN Magazine is available as a digital magazine, and its content is entirely free to read and share for readers in Afghanistan and region. It publishes the work of outside contributors and reporters, as well as the analysis, opinion, and essays of staff and members to promote a positive, critical, and progressive vision.

The Magazine is committed to human rights, democracy, and freedom of thought and actively opposes religious fanaticism. However, INSAN Magazine does not and will never represent any outside organization, political party, or agenda. The Magazine is independent and impartial; it is the publication of INSAN Foundation for Research and Media.

Contributions

INSAN Magazine welcomes essays, ideas, long articles, arguments, and analyses on a wide range of topics, including history, philosophy, and specifically about Afghanistan, in both Pashto and Dari languages.
