Restarting of Activities
INSAN Foundation for Research and Media
TORONTO, Canada - September 13, 2023
A decade ago, on September 13th, a group of concerned student activists founded INSAN with the goal of fostering discussions and spreading knowledge on culture and history, starting with the launch of INSAN Magazine and organizing seminars and academic exchange events in Kabul.
Two years ago, unfortunate events in our beloved Afghanistan compelled most of our members to leave the country.
On INSAN's 10th anniversary, we are pleased to announce the resumption of our work. Our commitment to promoting intellectual work and resilience remains unwavering, even in challenging times, to help build a brighter future for Afghan society. We extend an open invitation to social scientists, humanists, and all Afghans to join us in serving Afghanistan. Explore our updated online platforms and stay tuned for our forthcoming plans.
